Food was delicious- I especially loved the Misticanza salad. The lasagna and the pasta we had was great as well. The young woman who served us was especially gracious and attentive. Great dining experience although my companion was surprised that bread was not served before the meal. But he loved his meal!
since burger village is a burger place, there are not many possibilities for anyone beyond burger. but the menu contains many vegan options, both in the basic burgers and in addition. the menu is clear that the whole grain bene is vegan, but the Brioche bene is not. they have the mass market mosquito meatburger, but also their own vegan burger, which is an option for their lunch special, which is considerably cheaper at lunchtime.
This pizza was nasty and don't eat meat. I couldn't finish it. I had a couple bites of each then threw it away and I don't like wasting food. I don't like fake meat either which almost every type had instead of just plain. Not a fan.
Whenever I get the chance to come home to NYC from Philly, I get pizza. I was thrilled to take a chance on Brooklyns Pizza while in the area! OMG, really REALLY great pizza! Also bought some rice balls, a chicken roll and a sausage roll to enjoy when we got home. The staff were so nice and super friendly, I even bought a t-shirt to 'represent ' by wearing here in Philly. PS, thank you for the wonderful bakery you suggested! I 've got cannoli for days!
