On Friday afternoon with a group of friends at noon. We were sitting right there at 11:30... The lunch was a little later. They have a spacious top floor deck that was not open for lunch, but most evenings are available. They specialize in a variety of tequilas and margaritas; a friend of mine had a blueberry margarita and announced it was very delicious! Our table enjoyed an appetizer from guacamole and chips. The Guacamole was on the table and was quite delicious! There followed a variety of lunch appetizers and entrees, including my chicken top salad, cheese enchiladas, quesadillas and more. All were delicious and beautifully presented. Service was very attentive and friendly, our server immediately treats our various separate controls. There is a full bar for those looking for adult drinks, and the restaurant is clean and pleasant. Their biggest problem is probably parking, as there are no dedicated parking spaces, and the restaurant is very busy 6th Street in Austin. But stop, I think you'll appreciate this place.

Get down! Visiting the city and made a quick Google search for Diners Driveins and Dives places. Iron Cactus was right on the street from where we stayed, great location on the 6th street in the middle of the bar scene. Bartender were friendly, made AMAZING drinks and could lead a good conversation. Table side Guac was wonderful! Spicy Margarita’s we are perfect!
The Iron Cactus was a great stop on my tour through Austin! The staff from the front to the back was very friendly and friendly. Our server has made our guacamole before us and delivered the drinks and chips until our food is there. Even the food itself was excellent. The experience was excellent between the dazzling skill and the enchiladas and the drinks. The Iron Cactus is an amazing stop for anyone looking for great Mexican cuisine, a friendly atmosphere and an attentive friendly cast.
Excellent mango margarita, possibly my favorite ever. Kudos to my server/bartender. Food and service were both fantastic. I loved that they had small plates since I'm on here for a conference and can't really take anything to go. Was a great way to try stuff without having a ton of food.
