my man and I go to and fave restaurant! they really do their thing here and eating is always top-tier. my man always gets the steak tacs loves her. I usually get the lamb tacos, but this time I got the Cuban torta, which was absolutely delicious. horchata always at the point. but my absolute favorit tres leches cake! so light and fluffy. the pfirsiche are a beautiful note. they are in the rule out, so I call in advance to make sure they have some for me. this place is a jewel!
so many vegan foods that are really delicious. the personal is always friendly and helpful with recommendations that they can say that they have a passion for it. the portions are large and they can have some rest.
we have visited this place for years. it took 2 years because of Kovid and was excited to go back, but man o man they have gone downhill. our quesadillas were unusually fat, saw through the paper bag and dried it in oil. Beyond that they were slightly 85% tortilla and perhaps 15% filling. can barely see a cheese in them. we also decided to buy a few fools to have the day after. but when they reheat them, the half of each tamale became hard as a rock! How does that even happen? we wrapped them in wet paper towels before we germinate them for only a minute. regular deceptions come simply into order, so what do they put in these monstrosities that would cause this? to finish everything, we ended up with annoyed stomachs for the first time due to this place. of course they have lost a few long-term customers.
this restaurant is dangerously good. I am a gluten-free vegetarian, and there are many options on their menu that work. (ask for the potato vean cheese when they get vegan cheese. trust me, I think the price for the amount of food they receive is reasonable. I love this place absolutely.
Absolutely outstanding every time. Best vegetarian “meat” in the world and priced right. Filling too.
Everything I look for in a low key veg food spot. Food is flavored well and has good textures. If you’re looking for a DL vegan spot this is it.
Worst Mexican food in Chicago. I got a steak burrito and was flavorless. The steak had rubbery Texture and tasted if it was heated in a microwave. The beans had no flavor or salt.Don’t go here.. it’s not good at all.
So, I decided to go meatless for the day...no meat here! I witnessed people walk in and leave as soon as soon as they heard no meat. The service was super friendly. I decided to sample four different tacos -delicious. I enjoyed them with a small bowl of tortilla soup that was perfect. I had their hot coffee with a hint on cinnamon to really make my meal worth writing about. I'll definitely return. You won't be disappointed.
