We had reservations at this restaurant for August for our group of When we arrived, the restaurant was closed. We went next door to Hell's Kitchen X who told us it had been closed for over one month. No notification to us was made and I am still getting requests to book again and for feedback. Terrible.

we have made a reservation and our party of four was immediately sat. the restaurant was very crowded because of the proud, so the reservation was a good idea. muffins served the table we sat. the attentive waiter took our drinks and appetizer orders and waited long before they came. for as long as we wait for our main dishes. benedikt and the court came over boiled. the same result for the Benedict my wife. possibly the restaurant was very loud and sisterish due to the day. we've already eaten there and that was the first time we were disappointed. it is not a cheap restaurant.

Went to celebrate my daughters birthday. We were a large party so made a reservation for We received a confirmation of that reservation only to arrive and be told that our dinner time was at The host blamed me and said I must have made it at that time. I showed him the confirmation from open table but he said we still had to wait. We sat at the bar and ordered drinks but the bar didn’t have any more martini glasses. We had to wait or change drinks. We finally got our drinks only to be told the table was ready. They wouldn’t move the drinks to a dinner tab and no one carried our drinks over to the table (we hadn’t even drank from them yet). They squeezed us into a table where one person had to sit at the end putting them in the way of the server’s station. There was no acknowledgement of a Birthday celebration (which has always occurred when we noted it as such). Food was good and the service was ok. There was no extra effort by the staff to turn our experiences around. Overall disappointing. Given the many many choices in NY, we won’t go back.

I and five other family members had brunch at 44 X this past Sunday. I have to say that the food was excellent. We all had something different and we all enjoyed it. The french toast was fabulous. My husband had Eggs Benedict which was great. From where we sat, we had a great view of the streets as the windows are large. The seats were very comfortable and clean. The waiters were very attentive and always came back to be sure we had everything we needed. It was not a long wait for the food, and came just in time as we finished our brunch cocktails which were also delicious. The place was packed from the minute it opened so be sure you make reservations as we did. Even though every table was filled, the service was great. Also, just as an aside, the bathrooms are also clean which is always a plus!
