The prices are great and the waitress they had was great. However, the chicken chow has my no noodles in it and very little chicken, if at all and the fried rice had no vegetables in it and the rice had no taste. The almond chicken was really rough, the severity had a strange taste to him and it was not good. The orange chicken was brilliant I loved the taste. My son's burger was very dry and dirty.
There is a saying that you have to experience everything at least once in your life. I'm 81 years old. And that was my first catastrophic meal in my whole life! It wasn't just bad, it was an insult. How can everyone expect you to eat such a garbage! Not even my pigs would eat it! I won't waste time to describe what was wrong. Because it was all. We said no sesame seeds (my mother in the law is allergic), my wife and mother in the law left to get the substitute food they offered, but the manager called when they were almost there and told them to bring the food back, but they didn't bring it, as the waiting staff on the phone said, only come the right food. We forgot because we didn't want to waste the gas or the time to drive all the way home and then back. In any case, do not eat here as they only put what they feel in food, and then do not do it right as they had said they would. Terrible, terrible management.
We placed to order specified no sesame seeds. The lady on the phone told us it would be ready in 10 minutes. We came there 15 minutes later and had to wait 30 more. They gave us our food and before I asked again whether there was no sesame seeds, as a family member is very allergic. We only have to find sesame seeds at home! I just called and the waitress admitted that she had forgotten to write no seeds on the ticket, but offered to replace the meal. I was halfway and she called me and then told me to bring the other food back. I explained we were almost there and didn't bring the food. She said that would not be a problem, the owner called and rudely declared, without the dirty foods he would no longer exchange in honor to make things right. Will never go back.
Horrible environment. Space heaters are used and the building is cold. My food had a hair in it. The owner finally decided to help the waitress, who tried her best to do everything. No extra clean plates ready to bring out. How is this place in business?
This was the worst experience I ever have had at a Chinese restaurant. I ordered my daughter egg flower soup and the rest of us ordered the lunch specials. Her soup wasn't ready until after the rest of us had finished eating, and our food was awful. It tasted like microwave rice and some sort of veggie mush over crunchy noodles. They gave a tiny serving of mustard and the waitress had no idea what I was talking about when I asked for red sauce. The best part of the meal was the fortune cookie.
The Golden Moon is not what it used to be . Once enjoyed by my wife, daughter and mother in law, we would look forward to going out and enjoying a meal there but something has go amiss. Tonight's bill was 48.05$ but the quality of food and friendliness of service was a 8.05$ bill. The butterflys were over cooked with hardly any filling, the bbq pork slices were about average and as for the four meals...lacking at best. Cold food and a colder attitude towards us left us with a sour taste and an upset stomach. Unfortunately we will not be going back.
My family and I used to come here all the time, recently we haven 't had much time. So today I suggested we come here and I regret it. When we walked in we were greeted by a lovely waitress, she was the only positive thing about this whole experience. The food wasn 't as good as I remember it but it was okay. After we finished our food, my mom looked around to find her purse but she couldn 't so she 's asked me if I could go to car look for it, I did and couldn 't find it so she thought she must 've left it back at the hotel. My mom asked the lady running the cashier of whom I presume also runs the establishment. When my mom told her she looked as though my mom was going to just ditch and not pay her bill. To which my mom was very offended by because she never had and she never will. So my mom, quite irritated said, Do you want just want me to leave my kids here? and the lady turned to my five year old brother and I and said, Do you guys want to stay here with me so your mom can get her purse. At that my mom was absolutely livid but she just went to the hotel to get her purse. While my brother and I were waiting I overheard the cashier lady talking to one of the customers. She told him to wait a few minutes and he said, Yeah and I 'm not going to go to the hotel and leave my kids here either. She joked and laughed along with him. I was very angry and disgusted that two grown adults were talking about the mother of the children next to them like that. I believe that was absolutely disgraceful and unprofessional. Neither my mother nor I will ever be eating there again. Their behavior was unacceptable. Edit: myself along with my whole family are sick because of their food. Don 't eat here.
