I usually don't write reviews but this restaurant's spices, service and choice of entrees and side dishes, kept me form my usual disappointment in restaurants. I had requested extra spicy on the lamb Vindaloo and was not disappointed. The pumpkin vegetable dishes were really tasty as well. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who is bored with the usual dining fare. It was an unexpected pleasure.

Love this food. It is just sooo good. The Palak Paneer--heavenly. Goat stew--A+. The lunch specials are pretty fantastic and there is a generous choice of items as the entree but the special includes a cup of the amazing lentil soup, a small salad, a scoop of basmati or brown rice and naans for Parking is no problem. It is a go-to for comfort food. Choice of spice level too. Efficient, friendly service and explanations.

Himalaya Tandoori is usually a to star dine for us and we come here often. The food is a cut above the normal Indian restaurant without much of a price premium. Quite often both service and food are stars here. Tonight both were because they had let their liquor license lapse and so were temporarily unable to serve alcohol and there were a few minor lapses in service. Still overall a great experience and we will keep returning on a regular basis

It's the second time I have visited here, and each time I have found the food to be reliably authentic and very good. The service is very good as well.

This place is the bomb. Had the tandoori chicken breast today. Excellent!

A very interesting menu that differs from other Himalayan restaurants I know: You can actually order a salad although the raw onions were very sharp. But leave those in the serving bowl, and the tomato, mozzarella, avocado and basil (those old Indian favorites with a vaguely Indian-spiced dressing are quite good. We then had the pumpkin chicken and coconut lamb curries both really delicious. Short grain brown rice was a tasty option. All the staff were friendly and helpful but service could use a little tuning up. They did not offer to replace our dinner plates that were gooshy with salad dressing. When the two entrees arrived, we had to request serving spoons, and then they brought only one; we then had to request a second. These are nits that this promising restaurant can easily fix with a bit more server training.

Very good. I got the Tandoori Salmon, white rice and plain pita bread. The Salmon was cooked perfect with veggies. My husband got a curry dish that was good as well. He also got the garlic naan which was tasty. Absolutely no complaints. Service was excellent. Definitely going back!
